Santiago

Upon arrival at Santiago Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by the Chile Concept team and transferred to their selected hotel. In the afternoon, at the scheduled time, embark on a guided exploration of Santiago, Chile’s vibrant and cosmopolitan capital, where centuries of history coexist with modern architecture and contemporary urban life. The experience begins in the historic heart of the city at Plaza de Armas, home to some of Santiago’s most important landmarks, including the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and City Hall. The tour continues to La Moneda Palace, the seat of the Chilean government and one of the country’s most emblematic buildings, before exploring the traditional streets and neighborhoods that reveal Santiago’s rich cultural heritage. The journey then moves to the charming Lastarria District, one of the city’s most renowned cultural and gastronomic quarters. Stroll through the beautiful Forestal Park, a green oasis in the center of the city, before discovering Bellavista, Santiago’s bohemian neighborhood, celebrated for its artistic atmosphere, colourful streets, and vibrant local character. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Santiago - Calama - San Pedro de Atacama

Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to Santiago Airport for the flight to Calama. Upon arrival, continue by road to San Pedro de Atacama, crossing the dramatic landscapes of the Domeyko Mountain Range and the Cordillera de la Sal. In the late afternoon, venture into the heart of the Atacama Desert, the driest desert on Earth, to discover two of its most extraordinary natural wonders: Moon Valley and Death Valley. Nestled within the Cordillera de la Sal, Moon Valley presents a surreal landscape sculpted by wind, salt, and time. Its striking geological formations, vast dunes, and mineral-rich terrain create an environment so unique that it evokes the surface of another planet. Nearby, Death Valley reveals a dramatic landscape shaped by centuries of erosion. Characterized by rugged rock formations and reddish tones often compared to the landscapes of Mars, it offers one of the most spectacular sunset settings in northern Chile. As the sun descends behind the Andes, the surrounding mountains are illuminated by an ever-changing palette of colours. Return to San Pedro de Atacama. Overnight at the selected hotel.

San Pedro de Atacama

Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s journey leads into the heart of the Altiplano, where some of northern Chile’s most breathtaking landscapes await. Departing from San Pedro de Atacama, ascend to over 4,000 meters above sea level to visit the stunning Miscanti and Miñiques Lagoons. Surrounded by majestic volcanoes and dramatic Andean scenery, these high-altitude lagoons display remarkable shades of blue and provide an important habitat for flamingos and native bird species. The excursion continues to Socaire, a traditional Atacameño village of pre-Hispanic origin, renowned for its ancestral agricultural terraces and characteristic stone architecture. On the return journey, visit the impressive Atacama Salt Flat, a protected ecosystem featuring extensive salt formations and saline lagoons inhabited by flamingos and other specially adapted wildlife. The experience concludes in Toconao, a charming colonial village famous for its picturesque buildings constructed from volcanic liparite stone and its historic San Lucas Church. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before returning to San Pedro de Atacama. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Day 4

San Pedro de Atacama

Very early departure towards the high Andes to visit the impressive El Tatio Geysers, one of the world’s highest geothermal fields, located at more than 4,300 metres above sea level. Arriving at dawn, witness the extraordinary spectacle created by the contrast between the freezing morning temperatures and the geothermal activity beneath the earth’s surface. Powerful columns of steam rise from the geothermal vents as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the surrounding Andean landscape. Breakfast is served on site before enjoying a gentle guided walk through the geothermal field, where unique geological formations and native wildlife can be observed. On the return journey, admire the impressive scenery dominated by the Torcopuri and Sairecabur volcanoes. Upon arrival in San Pedro de Atacama, the remainder of the day is at leisure, providing an opportunity to explore the village and its local market. Overnight at the selected hotel.

San Pedro de Atacama - Calama - Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Calama Airport for the flight to Santiago and onward connection to Puerto Montt, gateway to Chile’s renowned Lake District.
Upon arrival, reception and transfer to Puerto Montt. Discover the city’s principal attractions, including the traditional fishing cove of Angelmó, famous for its vibrant seafood market and local handicrafts. The excursion continues to Puerto Varas, one of Chile’s most charming lakeside towns, celebrated for its German heritage, elegant architecture, and spectacular views of Lake Llanquihue and the surrounding volcanoes.
Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Puerto Varas - Frutillar - Petrohué Falls - Puerto Varas

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, explore the scenic beauty of Chile’s Lake District. Begin with a visit to Frutillar, a picturesque lakeside town founded by German settlers and renowned for its traditional architecture, beautifully maintained gardens, and magnificent views across Lake Llanquihue towards Osorno Volcano. Continue to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park to visit the spectacular Petrohué Waterfalls, where crystal-clear turquoise waters cascade over ancient volcanic rock formations. The excursion also includes a visit to the enchanting Todos los Santos Lake, surrounded by dense forests, volcanic peaks, and pristine natural scenery. Return to Puerto Varas in the afternoon. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Puerto Varas - Chiloé Island - Puerto Varas

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart towards Pargua, where a short ferry crossing over the Chacao Channel leads to Chiloé Island, an archipelago renowned for its unique traditions, mythology, and cultural heritage. The journey continues through the island’s picturesque landscapes, characterised by rolling hills, fishing villages, and colourful wooden architecture. Visit Quemchi, home to one of Chiloé’s UNESCO World Heritage churches, before continuing to Aucar Island, connected to the mainland by a charming wooden footbridge. Further exploration includes the village of Colo and its historic church, followed by Tenaún, famous for its colourful architecture and the Church of Nuestra Señora del Patrocinio, recognised as a National Monument. The excursion concludes in Dalcahue, where visitors can explore the central square, the local church, and the traditional handicraft market, offering a fascinating insight into the island’s cultural identity. Return to Puerto Varas. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt - Puerto Natales

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Puerto Montt Airport for the flight to Puerto Natales, gateway to Chilean Patagonia. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the selected hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the unique atmosphere of this charming Patagonian town, beautifully situated on the shores of Última Esperanza Sound. Surrounded by vast steppes, snow-capped mountains, and pristine fjords, Puerto Natales combines remarkable natural scenery with a rich cultural heritage, making it one of the most distinctive destinations in southern Chile. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Puerto Natales

Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure for a scenic navigation through the breathtaking Última Esperanza Fjord, one of Patagonia’s most spectacular waterways. Sailing through pristine fjords surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and native forests, reach Mount Balmaceda and its impressive glacier of the same name. Along the route, opportunities arise to observe local wildlife, including seabirds and sea lions. Disembark for a walk-through native forest to reach the viewpoint overlooking the magnificent Serrano Glacier. Surrounded by untouched wilderness, this experience offers an unforgettable encounter with one of Patagonia’s most remarkable natural environments. Lunch is included during the excursion before returning to Puerto Natales in the afternoon. Overnight at the selected hotel.

Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine - Puerto Natales

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Puerto Natales for a guided excursion to Torres del Paine National Park, recently recognized as the Eighth Wonder of the World. This visit allows you to discover the main highlights of this natural reserve and its surroundings, including the Milodón Cave, Cerro Castillo, Laguna Amarga, and the lakes Sarmiento, Nordenskjöld, Pehoé, and Grey, where millennial ice formations can be observed. The excursion begins with a first stop at Milodón Cave, located 27 km from Puerto Natales, where we will enjoy an approximately 30-minute walk. Afterwards, following a drive of about 45 minutes, we visit Cerro Castillo, a legendary estancia that offers a journey back in time, evoking the early days of Patagonian colonization through an approximately 30-minute visit. After lunch inside the park, we head towards Lake Grey and Grey Glacier, part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, for a scenic walk through lenga forests. Return to Puerto Natales and overnight at the selected hotel.
