Early in the morning, transfer to the pier to board the vessel for a scenic navigation through the breathtaking Última Esperanza Fjord. Surrounded by rugged coastlines, native forests, and snow-capped peaks, the journey offers magnificent views of Patagonia’s untouched wilderness. Along the way, colonies of cormorants, sea lions, and a variety of birdlife can often be observed inhabiting these protected waters. The first highlight of the navigation is the impressive Balmaceda Glacier, an immense wall of ice descending dramatically from the slopes of Mount Balmaceda. Continuing deeper into the fjord, disembark and follow a short trail through native woodland to reach a viewpoint overlooking the spectacular Serrano Glacier.
